Whenever I move around, every now and then, I suddenly become logged out. I have to log in several times. Is there any remedy for this?

Log out, and then scroll down to the bottom of the screen to where the login boxes are. You'll notice a pull-down menu. That menu determines how long you stay logged in for. (Weird, no?) In any case, if you select "15 minutes," after 15 minutes you'll automatically log out. Try a higher time.

I have it checked to "Forever" already...I'm pretty sure I can't go higher than that. LOL.
It happens when I'm in a topic, and then click "The Collective" underneath the ads on the top to go back to the homepage.

That's odd. It shouldn't do that. It may be an issue with your server. I use Firefox, maybe IE does something differently. In any case, try clicking on the image of Locutus above the ads. (It says "Home.)

Yeah, when I click on Locutus, it does it too. I use IE7, and if it works in Firefox, then that's what it is

Well, then, all I can suggest is get FireFox. I haven't used IE in over a year, so I have no clue what it does to boards.
(Could it be something to do with a firewall setting?)

I doubt it's something to do with a firewall.
And I've been trying to convince my dad to let me DL Firefox for a long time. He just doesn't like it. What a smurf.

Yeah, your dad IS a Smurf. And you can let him know that the Wishfire said so!

I use IE7 and I've been hopping around the board and haven't had this problem at all so far. *Keeps fingers crossed.*
